The Why.

I thought about waiting before posting my first entry or even starting off with a bang with something deep and full of revelation. But, before I ever share anything, I want you to see my heart and the purpose for this corner of the internet.

Ever since I can remember, I have always had a hard time finding someone or something to truly identify with. Obviously, God gives me my identity, but I am talking more on the bases of someone I look up to that inspires me and drives me to be like them or be more. This doesn't mean I haven't come across some of the most amazing women to exist. I have had many opportunities to speak with and learn from some serious lady bosses but for some reason no one seemed like a "perfect fit". It honestly became a journey that was very discouraging and I had to take a step away from it for a while to rebuild the vision of what I was truly looking for. And it got me thinking about how many other girls feel the same way. I hated growing up and always being asked "who do you want to be when you grow up," because I never had a single person to reference. So, I decided to become that person. The person that I can look at and see myself in. And I don't mean that in a conceited way, but the woman I want to be is the woman God has called me to be. Sometimes that means there is no blueprint to reference, which can be scary but also, so encouraging! I want God to use me and this journey for girls who were like me. Searching for even a glimpse of themselves in someone else's story but having no luck. I want this platform to inspire other people to find their voice and the lane that God has designed specifically for them!

This place will be a place of faith. Where we can encourage each other and provide a space of refuge. We'll dive into the hard topics and the real things we go through but never want to discuss. All the while revealing the beauty of God's heart.

This place will be a place of fun. We'll laugh about memes and the realities of life. You may even see a tiktok or two! But I want the atmosphere of this platform to feel approachable and that starts by leaving some room for a little hehe and haha!

This will be a place for fashion and all things design. We will trade our best style tips, seasonal pieces and talk about that secret Pinterest board you have for your future home or wedding! No need to be ashamed, we all have one!
