Guys, I have totally been slacking on my blog and that is not okay. I 100% have grace for myself but I also want to hold myself to thing project that I feel God in. So, thank you guys for always being so patient with me. And thank you supporting this really cool journey that God has me on through this blog. It is very much appreciated. More than you could ever know.
Woke up this morning feeling so so grateful. The last few months have definitely nothing short of a trial but I am grateful for community. I truly could not imagine getting through my tough seasons without family, friends, a church, and so much more. The bible was not kidding when it said we were not meant to do life alone.
There is this beauty and perspective that the people around you can bring. I think it's too easy sometimes to get comfortable in our vision of life. It's what we're used to and sometimes if we're being honest, we think we're right all the time. well, at least I do. And most times I am right, but community will either confirm or deny that perspective. The beauty in community, is that they get to give you a response that can be completely unbiased and without emotion. We don't realis how much our heart is in things until we forced to pull it out. Today's post isn't lengthy. It's not super insightful. It's not crazy profound. It's just a reminder of 2 things. Find something to be grateful for today and get some community.
It's too easy to point out what's wrong in our work. And it's too easy to become isolated by the enemy. So, I am here just to remind you not to fall in either of those traps. If you need community, I am here for you! Trust me. I am not one of those people that says 'I'll be your friend," and then never shows up. I am not perfect, either, but you got me! I love you guys, have the best weekend.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in gratitude. Not here to ask anything or desire anything. We just want to say thank you. Thank you for always being you. Thank you for always doing you. Thank you for giving us another day to breathe and another opportunity to do better. We love you. In Jesus name, Amen.
